Game Details

The Weave is a story based, tactical strategy game exploring the lives of 4 people who are infected by an otherworldly presence. As the player, you will control the protagonists as they interact with the ever changing world around them, shaping their destiny and that of the city as well.

Most of what is included in the game right now are the major story beats of Act 1. You will be introduced to the main characters and start to get a sense of their personality and dynamics. 

There is also a basic introduction to the tactical combat system. While functional, it mostly serves to show off the framework for the system. However, you will be able to use the various powers of the characters to do battle against a variety of enemies.

How to Play:

The game uses a combination of mouse and keyboard. Menu navigation will be done using the arrow keys, you can press either Enter or Spacebar to select the highlighted item on the menu.

Use the mouse to interact with all other elements of the game. Either a left or right click.

I have included tutorials for each basic system as they show up. Please let me know if they aren't sufficient and I will update them.

Current Status

This game is very early in development, right now it stops at what I am calling "Act 1". It introduces the 4 main characters and shows you most of the core gameplay elements.

My current plan is to get Act 1 to a good state by adding more connecting scenes and information between the scenes in the game right now. There are also some major combat encounters that are mentioned in the game but aren't programmed in yet. I will likely tackle those first.

• Branching dialogue choices
